LinkedIn
I've been using LinkedIn for year, initially just as a way of maintaining latest contact details for formerprofessional colleagues and classmates. But now that is established, there is so much they can do.
Listible
Social tagging has been much hyped, but some of these are just a little too complicated for my liking. While Listible is a bit to geeky in content right now, I see potential in lists being as a great driver for search.
YouTube
I've liked YouTube for some time, especially their laisez faire attitude to redistribution of content to other sites. Getting head content and pioneering video search will be critical, but I think Google is making the right moves to do this.
MySpace
Another one of my early favorite companies. Lot of enigma about origin of the concept, but founders nailed the opportunity. I see MySpace becoming a portal for Gen-Y that offers a refreshing change from stuffy Yahoo/AOL/MSN.
Facebook
I've been keen on Facebook for quite some time. I think they may end up diluting value to user as they move out of college vertical. I love the platform play as a way of enlisting third parties to enrich their site experience.
